Do you remember the first job you did as Home Style Co?
The earliest I remember in my styling career was an amazing property on the esplanade in Tennyson. It had a huge 18 seater marble dining table with views of the ocean, an eight metre chandelier going from level three down to the ground floor, all in the middle of an oval staircase. That was pretty epic.
Home Style Co all began hiring out a storage unit for the furniture, so what did it feel like when the business got its own warehouse?
It was amazing, we got to set up our own space exactly how we needed it. Coming from hiring two small storage units of stock at kennards to housing over 70 houses worth of stock, its pretty amazing.
Do you have a favourite piece of stock?
My favourite item on our current inventory has got to be our Hampton sofa from Lounge Lovers! I just love the vibe it creates in a room.
What’s on your Wishlist right now?
Top of my Wishlist is the Amara round leg coffee and side tables from Globe West or the Sarah Ellison Alva arm chair in any colour because they are all stunning!
What’s your favourite styling to date?
I actually have two! The first we styled a few years back at 762 Strathalbyn Road, Mylor. It was epic - six bedrooms, three lounge rooms, an infinity pool, acreage, amazing gardens, and the most stunning tree lined driveway you have ever seen! Its my dream home! My second favourite styling is very recent at 18 Balham Avenue, Kingswood. A huge two story villa with a tennis court, pool, and a gorgeous kitchen/dining space. Loved styling that one!
What’s your personal design style?
My personal style would be a mix between modern French country and mediterranean! One day i’ll have my dream modern farm house!
